Studio Lead Base State Longevity | Aspen, Colorado About Base State Base State is a modern longevity and wellness studio in Aspen, bringing together evidence-based medicine, advanced wellness therapies, and restorative practices under one roof. Our services include longevity medicine and diagnostics, IV therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infrared sauna, cold plunge, red light therapy, compression therapy, massage, and other wellness services. We're looking for a Studio Lead to help lead the day-to-day client experience and keep our studio running seamlessly. The Role The Studio Lead is a hands-on leadership role combining hospitality, studio operations, sales and team management. You'll work alongside the leadership team to ensure Base State consistently delivers a warm, polished and high-touch experience. You'll help lead the team, manage the studio floor, solve problems as they arise and take ownership of daily operations. This isn't a behind-the-scenes management position. You'll be actively involved in the studio - welcoming clients, helping with bookings, supporting the team, preparing spaces and stepping in wherever needed. What You'll Do Leadership Help lead, support and motivate the team Direct and coordinate responsibilities Assist with scheduling and ensuring appropriate studio coverage Train and onboard new team members Provide ongoing coaching and feedback Help maintain accountability around performance, attendance and studio standards Participate in hiring and provide input on staffing decisions Act as the manager on duty when senior management is not present Foster a positive, collaborative and accountable team environment Client Experience Create a warm, polished and personalized experience for every client Build genuine relationships with clients and understand their preferences Confidently explain Base State services, memberships, packages and wellness technologies Handle escalated client questions or concerns with professionalism and good judgment Ensure appointments run smoothly and clients are well cared for throughout their visit Studio Operations & Equipment Ensure treatment and recovery spaces are prepared, reset and maintained Take ownership of equipment maintenance and ensure routine maintenance is completed Proactively identify operational issues and follow them through to resolution Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization and presentation Manage inventory levels and coordinate ordering and restocking Support other team members to keep the studio running efficiently Ensure policies, procedures and safety standards are consistently followed Sales & Growth Develop an in-depth understanding of Base State's services and offerings Confidently recommend services, packages and memberships when appropriate Help convert inquiries and walk-ins into bookings Support membership retention and client rebooking Support promotions, events and other initiatives that drive studio growth Who We're Looking For You're naturally warm, polished and attentive. You notice what needs to be done and handle it. You're comfortable giving direction, making decisions and holding people accountable, while still being the first person to jump in and help. You're genuinely passionate about health and wellness and thrive in a dynamic, people-focused environment where no two days are quite the same. Ideally, you have: Previous leadership experience in hospitality, wellness, fitness, spa, luxury retail or another high-touch service environment Experience supervising or leading Exceptional hospitality and interpersonal skills Strong organization and attention to detail Confidence handling difficult conversations and client concerns Strong judgment and problem-solving skills A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership Comfort working toward sales and performance goals The ability to work independently and make decisions when needed A genuine interest in health, wellness and longevity Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and during Aspen's peak seasons Previous wellness experience is a plus, but strong leadership, hospitality experience and reliability are more important to us than knowing every modality on day one.
