Coordinator, Family Advancement Req #2386 Colorado Springs, CO, USA Apply Share Job Description Posted Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 2:00 AM Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Focus on the Family has nearly 700 employees who work to achieve the mission of enriching the lives of families, engaging the culture, advocating for life and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Coordinator, Family Advancement position exists to coordinate relationships for three major gift officers known as Family Advancement Representatives (FA Reps) who engage individual constituents, foundations, and corporations. Coordinates and assists with projects, event planning, data entry reporting, research, product purchases and measurements resulting in enhanced friendships with constituents through authentic encouragement, provides resources for their ministry needs, and coordinates relationships with two main groups of constituents: current and potential.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Pursues utmost detail in the area of constituent relationship and maintenance Generates and maintains trip summaries, expense reports, constituent profile updates, and caseload lists Coordinates all aspects of event preparation for FA Rep's Donor Events Helps coordinate positive relationships with supporters Stays current with Focus programs and maintains currency in terms of personal and professional development, through training, research, and reading Coordinates the discovery, maintenance and documentation of new potential donors of the ministry Provides FA Reps with various reports Relates and communicates with people of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, and socio-economic levels

Other Duties/Responsibilities:

May coordinate travel requirements including researching and booking flights, hotels and cars for multiple team members and their family Prepares expense statements after trips verifying that all receipts and allowable expenses are in order and justifies credit card statements each month for multiple team members who travel Drafts correspondence including letters to major donors, bios of major donors sent to the senior staff and prepares internal communications Performs research to compile information on donors and potential donors and businesses to discover major gift potential Manages multiple calendars and supports the FA Rep's with special projects Maintains constituent accounts in database Assists team with fulfillment of benevolent resources Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Business with emphasis in Public Relations, Marketing, Advancement or Communications preferred, but not required 1-3 years of directly related experience Proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Publisher, and PowerPoint In-depth knowledge of Focus philosophy, mission, values, and objectives

Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent listening skills and exhibit the ability to understand what others are communicating Detailed and task oriented with good analytical skills in order to extract, verify, and draw conclusions from data Highly polished verbal skills; clarity of expression, good organization of thoughts and effective articulation Ability to maintain a sense of perspective with humor under pressure and when confronted with shifting priorities Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to work independently

Pay Range :

$19.30 to $22.76
