Simulation Assistants (SAs) work under the supervision of the Simulation Lab Manager to enact a simulation script provided by faculty during student simulation activities. Candidates that are under 18 years of age on the date of hire will be required to provide a guardian waiver prior to beginning employment. Special Instructions toApplicants:

Follows scripted simulation scenarios which may include: role play of a patient with medical or other conditions in an interaction with students set up of initial simulation state using technology to enact a simulation script throughout a simulation scenario Under direction of faculty, may provide feedback directly to students regarding selected aspects of student interaction. Participates in and contributes to the upkeep of the Simulation Center and simulators. Provides feedback to the Simulation Manager and Associate Dean and/or nursing faculty regarding quality improvements that may improve student learning and/or efficiency in the operation of the simulation lab.Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to consistently simulate a case scenario in a standardized manner. The position requires good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others in a respectful manner. SAs must show willingness to be flexible with scheduling and assignmentsPreferred Qualifications:
