Part-Time About Us The Center of Balance is a premium fall-prevention and movement optimization studio serving adults 50+. We combine principles from Physical Therapy , Exercise Science , and Neuromuscular Training to help clients improve stability, confidence, and independence. Our clients include active older adults, post-rehab individuals, and patients referred by physicians seeking a higher level of personalized care. Position Overview We are seeking a highly attentive, client-focused Balance Coach to deliver one-on-one coaching sessions. This role blends elements of personal training, rehabilitation support, and concierge-level service. You will work closely with clients to improve balance, gait, strength, and fall resilience in a calm, private studio setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial movement and balance assessments (training provided) Using our proprietary curriculum design and lead individualized balance training sessions Implement fall-prevention protocols using evidence-based methods Track client progress and adjust programming accordingly Communicate professionally with referring physicians and families when appropriate Deliver a premium, highly personalized client experience Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming studio environment Ideal Candidate You are: Highly observant and detail-oriented Calm, patient, and confident working with older adults Professional in both appearance and communication Passionate about helping clients maintain independence and quality of life Preferred Background Degree or certification in: Nursing Kinesiology Exercise Science Physical or occupational Therapy (or PTA) Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, NSCA, etc.) Experience working with older adults (50+) Post-rehabilitation clients Balance or fall-prevention programs Compensation Competitive hourly or salaried pay (based on experience) Performance incentives Paid training and continuing education Opportunity for career growth within a premium, niche wellness model Why This Role Is Different This is not a high-volume gym environment.
