Commercial and Residential Painter

Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality. Apply paints, stains, primers, and specialty coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools to achieve smooth, even coverage. Perform residential painting tasks including wall coatings, plastering, stucco application, and fixture installation for home renovations or restorations. Execute commercial painting projects involving industrial coatings, construction painting, scaffolding setup, and surface preparation on larger structures. Conduct maintenance tasks on existing surfaces and perform remodeling or renovation work as needed on construction sites. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting along with strong knowledge of construction site procedures and safety standards. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and airless paint spraying equipment. Knowledge of color theory for selecting appropriate finishes and coordinating color schemes effectively. Skills in plastering, stucco application, caulking, restoration work, joint compound and finishing work. Excellent communication skills with a handyman mindset for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.

Pay:
