Commercial Cleaner

Cleaning and Maintenance :

Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, operating auto scrubbers, and ensuring floors are kept in pristine condition. The role includes working under the guidance of a remote supervisor who will provide direction and support as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform general janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.

Floor Care :

Operate auto scrubbers and other floor care equipment to clean and maintain various types of flooring. Apply appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques to remove stains and dirt.

Equipment Management :

Maintain and perform routine checks on cleaning equipment to ensure proper functioning. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the remote supervisor.

Safety and Compliance :

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to manufacturer's instructions and company policies.

Communication :

Communicate regularly with the remote supervisor to receive assignments, updates, and feedback. Report any issues, incidents, or unusual conditions to the remote supervisor promptly.

Additional Duties :

Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned. Perform other related duties as required to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in janitorial or floor care preferred. Ability to operate floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions from a remote supervisor. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Working Conditions :

Primarily indoor work in various settings including offices, restrooms, and common areas. Regular use of cleaning chemicals and floor care equipment. May involve working evenings, nights, or weekends depending on the schedule.
