Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team for evening shifts, Monday through Friday, in office environments located in Geneva. This role offers an energetic work atmosphere where your cleaning expertise will help maintain pristine, professional spaces. You will be responsible for ensuring all office areas are spotless, sanitized, and welcoming for employees and visitors alike. Your dedication to cleanliness will contribute to a healthy, safe, and productive workplace environment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, including desks, conference rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance. Handle janitorial tasks like trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces regularly. Maintain facilities by performing light custodial maintenance and reporting any repair needs or safety hazards promptly. Follow established health and safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Support industrial or specialized cleaning tasks as needed to uphold cleanliness standards across different office zones. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and carpet maintenance. Experience with facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is advantageous. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift. Prior porter or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
