Commercial Drivers License A Log Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Log Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate large tractor-trailers equipped with various trailer types, including logging trailers and lowboy trailers. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently transport logs and other equipment across routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmissions across diverse routes, including urban and rural areas Load and unload timber using appropriate equipment such as loaders or manual methods, ensuring secure handling of cargo. We are willing to teach the right candiate how to operate loaders. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations Route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Requirements Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and recent commercial driving experience Experience driving various trailer types such as double bunk log trailers and lowboys.
