Commercial Drivers License Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various trucks and heavy-duty vehicles to deliver goods efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, combined with your mechanical knowledge and physical strength, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to transport goods across designated routes. Load and unload cargo using manual or mechanical methods, ensuring secure and proper handling of materials. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Perform heavy lifting tasks as required during loading and unloading processes. Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and compliance documentation in accordance with transportation regulations. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during vehicle operation to ensure safety for yourself and others. Assist with maintenance tasks or minor repairs on trucks when necessary, utilizing your mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively. Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers. Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery operations, preferably with experience handling roll-off trucks or front/rear loader trucks. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and the ability to operate them proficiently. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of truck systems and basic repair procedures. Experience in load & unload procedures, including safe handling of various cargo types requiring heavy lifting.
