Job Description
At Elements Hospitality, renovation is about people first.
We are a live-environment general contractor licensed in 36 states, headquartered in Lynden, WA. Since the early 2000s, we've grown from local timeshare renovations into a national leader in hospitality and senior living renovation, working in open, operating environments where planning, trust, and relationships matter.
Hospitality is a relational industry, and that principle shapes how we work. We're seeking a Commercial Project Estimator with a strong estimating foundation and an interest in hospitality renovation. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys complexity, collaboration, and seeing how thoughtful planning directly impacts successful live-environment projects.
You'll work closely with our estimating, operations, and business development teams to develop accurate, competitive, and well-defined bids for hotels, resorts, and senior living communities. In-Office (Remote Considered for Candidates with Hospitality experience) What You'll Do Prepare accurate and timely estimates for hospitality renovation projects Perform takeoffs and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing Participate in job walks and review drawings, specs, and site conditions Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and internal teams Assemble clear proposals that balance competitiveness and profitability Support proposal presentations, negotiations, and project handoffs Maintain estimating data, processes, and cost information Who We're Looking For An experienced commercial construction estimator Curious about hospitality renovation and eager to learn its nuances Organized, communicative, and collaborative Ethical, accountable, and relationship-driven Someone who values teamwork, humility, and long-term thinking Why Elements We believe strong partnerships are built on trust, transparency, and consistency. Job Requirements High school diploma 5+ years' experience in estimating or related role in the construction industry and/or hospitality industry. Experience implementing organizational and process strategies. Self-management, time management, and drive are key to success in this position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of MS Project, Blue Beam, and Excel. Ability to work closely and cooperatively with sub-contractors, vendors, and customers. Competency in building and effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels. Proficient and effective communicator with high attention to detail.
