$90,000 Base Salary Position Overview An established independent insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support a growing commercial insurance book of business. This individual will work directly with the agency owner and service a portfolio of commercial clients across multiple industries and lines of coverage. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing commercial insurance accounts, handling renewals and endorsements, and maintaining high-touch client relationships while ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and excellent customer service. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role within a team-oriented agency environment.

Agency Owner Role Focus:

Supporting and servicing the owner's commercial insurance accounts Key Responsibilities Manage and service commercial insurance accounts across various industries and coverage lines Review client policies and provide guidance on coverage options and policy changes Prepare and process: Renewals Endorsements Certificates Policy changes Claims support Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide accurate policy information Review insurance documentation for completeness and accuracy Collaborate with carriers, producers, and internal team members to support account management activities Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with agency and carrier guidelines Utilize insurance management systems and agency software to maintain accurate client information and policy activity Required Qualifications Experience servicing Commercial Lines insurance accounts Strong knowledge of: Commercial insurance policies Renewals Endorsements Client account servicing Excellent customer service and relationship management skills Strong attention to detail and organizational ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to explain insurance terminology and coverage details clearly to clients Experience using insurance management systems and general office technology Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing deadlines effectively Preferred Qualifications Previous Commercial Lines Account Management experience within an independent insurance agency environment Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License preferred Familiarity with Applied Epic preferred MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
