Commerical Roofing Boom Truck Operator

Michels Roofing a division of M.M. Schranz Roofing, Inc. is 115+ year old family owned and operated commercial roofing contractor in Wisconsin. We are looking for self-motivated individuals willing to learn the roofing trade and grow within our company. Education is provided both through the roofing union's apprenticeship program and on the job training.

Boom Truck Operator Responsibilities:

• A boom truck operator is responsible for operating a boom truck to transport, lift, and place heavy materials, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. They conduct equipment checks, perform maintenance, and may assist with loading and unloading tasks. • Roof maintenance and repairs

Qualifications:

18 years of age or older Able to lift 50 lbs. & climb up & down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet Valid CDL B or CDL A Driver's License & reliable transportation Able to work overtime, weekends, Saturday, Sunday and/or Holidays, as needed Authorized to work in the United States Must pass a pre-employment drug test Pay is based on Experience/ Union Scale Must be able to safely climb a ladder to a minimum height of 25' 5+ years of heavy equipment operation experience '
