Job Description:
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Community Finance Director to lead financial operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will oversee Revenue Management and Accounts Receivable for communities ensuring timely and accurate billing, enforcement of collection practices and guidelines, and compliant approval of revenue adjustments and bad debt write- offs. Work with the home office team to help support payroll and accounts payable functions at the communities. Responsibilities Conduct Accounts Receivable and Revenue analysis and reporting for each community's Business Office Director (CBD), covering all financial cycles including billing and collections. Provide Revenue Management and Accounts Receivable oversight for all communities within region including monitoring billing practices, enforcing collection guidelines, and approving revenue adjustments and bad debt write-offs. Set and monitor payer and facility focus areas, action plans and collection goals for communities. Review and provide feedback on AR Collection Notes. Collaborate with the independent auditors during annual audits to ensure the accuracy and adequacy of financial records. Deliver training and ongoing reinforcement across all business cycles, including Census management and Account Receivable. Support Communities with payroll processing and accounts payable. Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred. Experience managing assisted living accounts receivable and billing systems. Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience. Strong ability to research and analyze various types of financial data. Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Excel.
