Level II Background Check Responsibilities:

1. Assists customers in the Community Resource Center resource room with employment-related services and applying for public benefits/social services including Reemployment Assistance. Provides community referrals for services as appropriate. 2. Assist employers with recruiting and screening job candidates, including but not limited to writing, reviewing, and following up on job orders. 3. Responsible for accurate data input in Employ Florida including but not limited to activity codes, case notes, and comments as required by local Board policy. 4. Complete monitoring reviews using in-house monitoring tools to ensure compliance with guidelines for jobseeker services, job orders, and placements/obtainments. 5. Provide clerical support to other staff at the CRC and assist with compiling and submitting reports as needed. 6. Monitors the use of computers to ensure work-related activities are being performed. 7. Answers telephone and supports other staff in the Community Resource Center in the execution of their duties. 8. May assist with food distributions, ordering food, and completing reports related to food distribution or other reports related to the operations of the CRC and its programs. 9. Adheres to the direction given regarding the separation of duties for purposes of internal controls. 10. Performs other job-related tasks to ensure the successful operation of programs funded by CareerSource Gulf Coast. 11. Must represent CareerSource Gulf Coast in a professional and ethical manner.

Entry Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Gulf County residency and familiarity with CareerSource Gulf Coast activities in Gulf County are preferred. Basic computer skills are required. Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel preferred Candidate must be detail-oriented, flexible, and a multi-tasker with excellent communication skills. Some travel may be required; a valid Florida Driver's License, insurance, and access to reliable transportation are required. This position will require a Level 2 criminal background check

Physical Demands:

• Frequently required to spend long hours sitting at a work-stations and using office equipment.
• May be required to walk or stand for brief periods
• May be required to use stairs when elevator is not available
• May occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move up to 25 pounds of office supplies and materials
• May be required to reach with arms and hands and to stoop, kneel or crouch
