The Family Village is seeking a warm, organized, and community-minded Community Resource & Outreach Coordinator to help connect children and families with needed support, resources, and services. This role is often the first point of contact for families, community partners, and individuals seeking help. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, tech-savvy, and able to balance strong people skills with accurate documentation and follow-through. This position is primarily office-based, with some community outreach, partner coordination, and occasional evening or weekend events. Responsibilities Welcome and screen families, callers, and walk-in clients seeking support. Enter new clients, referrals, and service requests into the case management system. Follow up with families to ensure resources or services were accessed. Provide warm handoffs to internal staff, community partners, or outside agencies when appropriate. Maintain accurate records of calls, referrals, services provided, and follow-up outcomes. Build and maintain relationships with local agencies, schools, churches, nonprofits, and community partners. Help identify local resource gaps and communicate community needs to leadership. Support outreach efforts in high-need areas. Assist with scheduling and coordinating community events, partner-led programming, and resource activities. Represent The Family Village at select community events and partner meetings. Communicate professionally with families, partners, donors, and staff. Support basic outreach messaging related to programs, services, and events as directed. Qualifications Experience in community outreach, resource navigation, human services, nonprofit work, case intake, or a related field preferred. Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, community development, public health, communications, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable speaking with families who may be experiencing stress, crisis, or hardship. Highly organized with strong follow-through. Tech-savvy and comfortable using email, calendars, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and case management systems. Able to work independently while staying connected to a team. Professional, dependable, flexible, and solution-focused. Reliable transportation required. Schedule Full-time position. Primarily office-based with some community-based work. Standard weekday schedule with occasional evening or weekend events. Minimal overtime expected, with adjusted scheduling when events require alternate hours. Pay:
