Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Contribute your advanced imaging expertise to a dynamic healthcare team serving a 123-bed facility with Level III Trauma and Primary Stroke Center designations. This contract opportunity offers a chance to perform both CT and X-ray modalities in an acute care environment, providing critical diagnostics for inpatient and emergency department patient populations.
Schedule/Hours:
Night shifts: 9:00pm-7:00am (10-hour shifts) Must be available all days of the week; scheduling determined by department needs Weekend and holiday rotations as required Schedules released 4 weeks in advance within a 6-week scheduling period
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of recent experience in acute care settings Experience in both X-ray and CT; must be confident working independently overnight
ARRT, BLS
certification, and active WI license required Proven skills in operating GE or Toshiba CT, Fuji or Canon X-ray, and EPIC charting systems
CT:
IV skills (preferred), power injector operation, CTA/trauma/stroke protocol familiarity
X-ray:
proficiency in general, fluoroscopy, portable, and OR studies
Role Responsibilities:
Rotate between CT and X-ray modalities based on real-time facility needs Perform urgent and routine imaging studies including but not limited to strokes, trauma, angiography, fluoroscopy, and orthopedic exams Collaborate closely with a supervisor of Imaging and Director of Imaging/Cardiovascular Service Lines Support provided through a comprehensive four-day orientation
Facility & Patient Care Details:
Two CT rooms, one X-ray room, and two portable machines Average 45 scans per night shift, exclusively inpatient and ED cases 1:1 patient ratio at night for dedicated care delivery Robust PPE access, including N95s and
