Job Description
Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Opportunity available for a skilled imaging professional with expertise in CT. This contract position involves a dynamic schedule in a department equipped with five scanner rooms—two near the ER and three on the clinic side. The role primarily focuses on performing a full spectrum of CT scans for patients of all ages, including trauma and stroke cases. Applicants should bring a high level of competence to a fast-paced environment, managing an average of 90-100 acute and ambulatory scans daily.
Schedule/Hours:
Rotating set schedules: may include 12-hour shifts, 10-hour shifts, some 7-on/7-off, or weekend-only options Nights occasionally require working independently Participation in weekend and holiday rotations required No self or block schedulingQualifications:
ARRT (R) certification and active BLS required; ARRT CT preferred Minimum of 2 years' CT experience, with background in a level 2 or higher trauma center Proficiency in starting IVs strongly preferred Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Siemens/SECTRA PACS is desirable Experience with Siemens and Toshiba 300+ slice CT equipment Open to first-time contract travelers and duos/pairsResponsibilities:
Perform comprehensive CT exams on infants through adults, including urgent and trauma cases Float as necessary to acute care, urgent care, ER, and occasionally outpatient Ensure quality images and prompt case turnaround in a high-volume setting Navigate department-specific orientation, including up to one week of training Collaborate with radiologists both in-house (8a-10p) and via remote cover (10p-8a)Additional Information:
