  • $45 to $49 hourly for Local candidate Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our healthcare team.
In this vital role, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' internal structures, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of medical imaging modalities, including CT, PET scans, and mammography, along with a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient care in diverse clinical settings such as emergency rooms, urgent care centers, and trauma centers. Duties Perform computed tomography scans with precision, adhering to established protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and image quality. Operate specialized imaging equipment for procedures including PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, and sonography as required. Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to facilitate diagnostic evaluations across various medical disciplines. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and technical data in compliance with healthcare regulations. Ensure proper positioning of patients for optimal imaging results while providing compassionate patient care and clear instructions. Monitor patients during procedures for adverse reactions or discomfort and respond promptly according to emergency protocols. Experience Proven experience operating computed tomography (CT) scanners within a hospital or clinical environment. Prior work experience in emergency room settings or Level I/II trauma centers is highly desirable. Familiarity with a broad range of diagnostic imaging modalities including nuclear medicine, PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, X-ray, and ultrasound (sonography). Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology. Requirements 2 years CT Tech experience
