Computer Technician (Huntertown/Northside Elementary)

We are seeking a dedicated Computer Technician to serve as a vital link between our students and their digital world. In this role, your primary mission is to keep our students and staff connected and their Chromebooks in peak working condition, ensuring that technology remains a bridge—not a barrier—to our education system. You will be the hands-on expert responsible for the rapid repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of student and staff devices, managing everything from hardware fixes to software updates.

Administrative Support Data collection/

Inventory Repair/Maintenance Technical:

Instructional Network Support Adding user accounts Attaching workstations to network Providing guidance in use of tutorials Netware and Windows "X" operation and utilization Software update installation

Technical:

Maintenance Network hardware File Servers Hubs Routers CSU/DSU/fiber Cabling Virus detection and remediation Software maintenance Workstation maintenance Peripheral and network printer maintenance Perform tape back-ups Educational (curriculum) Support Teacher and staff support in the use of the network and software resources Assisting teachers in the selection and evaluation of software Training teachers and staff in hardware and software use Assisting students in software use Other duties as assigned
