Job Description

Reybold is Premier Construction and Property Management Company seeking an experienced, hard- working Concrete Finisher in our Construction Site Operations Department Finisher who can effectively sub-grade, stone, and form after reviewing project plans and location for concrete to be poured for several concrete projects which include but are not limited to, curb work, flat work, sidewalks, ADA ramps and paving. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review project plans and location of the concrete pour Gather and inspect equipment to ensure they are functioning properly Install rebar or concrete forms as needed Communicate with the concrete crew about the timing and completion of each phase of the project Use vibrating screeds and hand finishing to smooth freshly poured concrete Inspect finished product to make sure it meets specifications Follow all industry and governmental safety protocols Maintain equipment and make repairs when necessary Education and/or Experience Qualifications Five years or more of construction experience working with concrete Proficient with industry tools and materials Experience with rebar and hand finishing Deloot certified Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Valid Driver's License Competencies Excellent communication skills Team player Endurance to work in all weather conditions Physical Demands Ability to stand for extended periods on the rear of the paver. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in high-heat environments around hot asphalt. Ability to climb on and off equipment safely. Work Environment Construction equipment operators work in nearly every weather condition, although rain or extremely cold weather can stop some types of construction. Workers often get dirty, greasy, muddy, or dusty. Some operators work in locations on large construction projects, such as highways and dams. •Reybold is an Equal Opportunity Employer•
