Job Title:
Concrete Laborer Job Description The Concrete Laborer works in a manufacturing setting to produce precast concrete products through a combination of general labor, concrete form setup, pouring, and cleanup. This role is highly physical and fast paced, requiring consistent hands-on work, attention to safety, and the ability to follow clear instructions. It is well suited for individuals who enjoy staying active, working with their hands, and contributing to a team-driven production environment. Responsibilities Perform general labor tasks in a precast concrete manufacturing environment, including material handling and basic production support. Set up concrete forms according to work orders and instructions, ensuring proper placement, alignment, and preparation for pouring. Assist with pouring concrete into forms, monitoring flow and distribution to achieve the required quality and finish. Clean and strip concrete forms after use, removing debris and preparing them for the next production cycle. Support basic carpentry tasks as needed, such as assembling or adjusting formwork and related components. Use basic mechanical skills and hand tools to assist with production processes and minor adjustments to equipment or forms. Read and follow simple instructions, safety guidelines, and work orders to complete tasks accurately and safely. Use basic math and measurement tools, such as tape measures and levels, to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by sweeping, removing debris, and properly storing tools and materials. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Stand, bend, kneel, lift, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift to support continuous production operations. Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe material handling practices. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED. Ability to lift and carry 40-50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift. Comfort working on your feet for most of the day, including standing, bending, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to work in outdoor or industrial environments with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures. Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, safety guidelines, and work orders. Proficiency with basic math and measurement tools, including tape measures and levels. Basic carpentry and mechanical skills. Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, production-focused environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, concrete work, or heavy industrial environments is preferred but not required. Experience with concrete finishing, concrete forms, or general construction labor is an advantage. Background in general production or factory work is helpful. Strong work ethic and reliability in a physically demanding role. Comfort with tough, labor-intensive work and a desire to stay active on the job. Why Work Here? Shifts require standing, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods, and you will regularly handle materials weighing 40-50+ pounds. The setting is fast paced and team oriented, with a strong emphasis on safety, proper use of tools and equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized production area. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
