Concrete Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with various concrete-related tasks on commercial and residential projects. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create durable and smooth surfaces. Set up and dismantle formwork using carpentry skills and hand tools, ensuring proper alignment and stability. Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics to strengthen concrete structures. Operate power tools and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and compactors safely and effectively. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements and specifications. Perform demolition, restoration, or renovation tasks as needed, including plastering, stucco application, or tile laying. Support other trades such as masonry, framing, roofing, or metal stud framing during multi-disciplinary projects. Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating tools and equipment efficiently. Construction estimating experience for understanding project scope and resource needs. Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance on construction sites. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy machinery operation. Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction site work including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
