Full time position:
Monday
  • Friday, some Saturday AM Base + Commission based pay plan Job requirements: Territory sales manager for several different commercial equipment lines: Bobcat Company, Case IH, Vermeer Ag, Bad Boy Mowers, plus other lines of equipment Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships, build confidence with new and existing customers to win their business.
Make sales calls on leads generated Promote our products, demonstrate rentals, and prospect for leads. Secure orders, point out the benefits of the equipment, emphasize the advantages of working with this company. Know the work going on and to be done, and promote the entire company including parts, service, rental, and supplies. Help take on customers problems, provides technical assistance as needed. Maintain familiarity with new products developed by suppliers. See that equipment is correctly delivered and meets all of the conditions of the sale; takes action to render prompt service in case of any deficiencies. Keep management informed of significant developments in the territory including lost orders Attend all sales meetings, training, and trade shows, as requested. Use company-approved technology and programs to maintain database of customers, and customer calling schedule. Responsible for loading, hauling and unloading of equipment and components Follow company policies and procedures, specifically the Sales Policy Manual Qualifications Strong background and experience in operating construction equipment is required. Commercial Driver's License (preferred, nor required) Ability to cold call new sales leads Typing and use of computer for quotation generation Organizational ability to schedule and follow-up dedications and meet deadlines Sense of urgency and high work ethic Strong driving and equipment operator skills and knowledge of DOT compliance Good communication skills and safe work habits Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Working knowledge of equipment operations Conform with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion drug screens, as required by DOT Must be outgoing, reliable, and a problem solver with strong interpersonal communications skills.
