Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by providing high-quality speech-language services within an educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work across a variety of grade levels, with primary responsibilities at both the middle and high school levels, and support duties with the elementary team on MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) initiatives. Enjoy a manageable caseload (likely 20 or fewer students) while collaborating with a dedicated school staff.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in the state Experience in educational or school-based settings preferred Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Familiarity with MTSS and willingness to support interventions at the elementary level
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech, language, and communication services to middle and high school students Support MTSS initiatives at the elementary level as needed Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct evaluations, write comprehensive reports, and maintain accurate documentation Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to eligibility, planning, and review processes Provide ongoing support and consultation to educational teams
