This role is critical in ensuring all concrete work is executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The Foreman will oversee daily site operations, manage crews, coordinate subcontractors, and work closely with project managers to deliver successful pours and structural work. A strong background in concrete placement, forming, finishing, and site coordination is essential. Duties Oversee and manage all phases of concrete construction , including site prep, forming, pouring, finishing, and curing. Supervise and coordinate crews performing formwork, rebar placement, concrete pours, and finishing , along with light carpentry related to forming and framing. Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and concrete specifications to guide daily operations. Plan and schedule pours, ensuring proper timing, manpower, equipment, and material coordination . Ensure proper setup and execution of forms, footings, slabs, walls, and flatwork according to project requirements. Monitor weather conditions and adjust plans as needed to maintain concrete quality and curing standards . Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols; conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections. Perform quality control checks to ensure alignment, grade, finish, and structural integrity meet specifications. Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain workflow and resolve issues quickly. Track daily progress, labor, and materials; assist with project scheduling and cost control . Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient job site at all times. Experience Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or Lead with a strong background in commercial and/or residential concrete work . Hands-on expertise in forming systems, rebar placement, concrete placement, finishing, and curing processes . Experience supervising crews and managing multiple aspects of concrete jobs simultaneously . Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, elevations, and specifications . Solid understanding of OSHA safety regulations and job site safety practices. Experience with basic carpentry related to concrete forming and framing . Familiarity with construction tools and equipment used in concrete work (levels, lasers, screeds, etc.). Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing job site conditions. Preferred (but not required) Knowledge of concrete estimating, takeoffs, and material calculations . CDL or equipment operation experience is a plus. Subcontractor insurance and documentation
