We are looking for a full-time in-person Construction Inspector, with a telecommunications emphasis. The successful candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic, and detail oriented. Responsibilities The Construction Inspector works in the Construction Department to assist with verifying outside plant projects. Inspects and reviews outside plant construction projects Performs physical survey of the project area Works with contractors and company construction crew to ensure project is being completed correctly Tabulation of materials Coordination with other groups, both internal and external, on assigned projects Gathers data through GPS, AutoCad, Mapcom, etc. Works with customers as necessary to ensure homes and businesses are prepared and ready for requested services Maps facilities to ensure accurate recording of plant facilities Qualifications Current driver's license 1-2 years construction inspecting experience 2+ years telecommunication construction experience 1+ years' experience with AutoCAD, Google Earth Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Preference will be given to those with the following: Experience in Road Design, Utility Coordination, Surveying Experience with telecommunications and/or related utilities Experience with drafting, mapping, and GIS platforms All West is a drug free workplace, conducting pre-employment and random drug testing.
