Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team and contribute to a variety of building and renovation projects. This role involves physically demanding work on construction sites, assisting skilled tradespeople, and supporting the overall progress of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and experience or interest in construction-related tasks. Duties Assist with the installation of rebar, framing, drywall, and other structural components Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently Mix and pour concrete, perform concrete finishing, and handle concrete forming and pumping tasks Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution Perform demolition, renovation, restoration, and general site cleanup Support masonry work including tile laying, stucco application, and masonry repairs Install flooring, trim carpentry, roofing materials, and metal stud framing as needed Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment throughout the site Follow safety protocols including proper use of caulking tools, plastering supplies, and welding equipment Operate commercial vehicles for material transport when required Skills Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation Experience with construction estimating and blueprint reading Skilled in rebar installation, concrete finishing, framing (including metal studs), and masonry work Proficient with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and schematics interpretation Knowledge of roofing techniques, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, stucco application, and restoration processes Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods Familiarity with renovation projects across residential or commercial sites Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites including heavy equipment operation and site hazard recognition Valid driver's license for commercial driving when necessary This position offers an opportunity to develop a broad skill set within the construction industry while contributing to diverse projects. Pay:
