Construction Laborer FRF Construction Franklin, MI Job Details Full-time $24 - $32 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Outdoor work Heavy equipment operation Blueprint reading Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers hands-on involvement in various phases of construction projects, from foundational work to finishing touches. You will utilizing your physical strength and technical skills to ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This paid position provides an exciting opportunity to develop your construction expertise while contributing to impactful building projects. Duties Assist with site preparation, including heavy lifting and material handling to ensure a safe and organized workspace Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently for tasks such as framing, roofing, and concrete finishing Install rebar, metal studs, and other structural components following schematics and blueprints with precision Mix and pour concrete using mixers and pumps; perform concrete forming, finishing, and curing processes to achieve smooth, durable surfaces Read blueprints and schematics to support carpentry, masonry, stucco application, and renovation tasks Perform demolition, restoration work, or remodeling activities as directed by supervisors Support specialty trades such as tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for various construction tasks Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and heavy equipment operation Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions Strong safety awareness Willingness to learn new skills such as metal stud framing, roofing techniques, or masonry practices Embark on a rewarding career path where your skills build more than structures — they build communities!
