Construction Material Handler

A construction warehouse in Helotes is seeking skilled Material Handlers to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement and storage of materials between the yard and the warehouse. This role requires the ability to work outdoors and engage in various laborious tasks. The ideal candidate will be cross trained across departments. Responsibilities Safely assist forklift and other heavy equipment operators in transporting materials throughout the facility. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organization in compliance with OSHA regulations. Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring that all materials are handled according to safety protocols. Aid in the transport and storage of construction-related materials. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline operations and improve efficiency in material handling processes. Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members to foster a positive work environment. Requirements Previous experience in materials handling is preferred. Construction labor experience is highly desirable, as you will be working in an outdoor environment handling construction-related material. Understanding of safety standards related to materials handling and warehouse operations is essential. Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day with minimal breaks. Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures. MUST pass a background check and drug screen. Schedule M-F 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM•OT is mandatory when necessary Starting Pay $18/hr Location Helotes, TX 78023 Benefits After 90
