Construction Project Manager Naugatuck, CT 06770 $63,489.52 - $76,460.49 a year - Full-time $63,489.52 - $76,460.49 a year - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to oversee and coordinate complex projects within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, ensuring all objectives are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong leadership skills and technical expertise to contribute to the successful delivery of key initiatives. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in liaising with stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring project quality standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.
KNOWLEDGE OF TIMBER FRAMING, A MUST.
Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Utilize Primavera P6 to create detailed schedules and track project progress against milestones. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across all project phases. Monitor project performance, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions promptly. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost control measures are adhered to throughout the project duration. Prepare regular reports for senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with organizational standards. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and manage expectations effectively. Oversee the utilization of Civil 3D for civil engineering design tasks where applicable. Lead meetings with team members and external partners to facilitate smooth project execution. Skills Proven experience in project management within engineering or construction sectors. Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling and program management. Strong knowledge of Civil 3D for civil engineering design coordination. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders. Ability to lead teams confidently while fostering a collaborative working environment. This position offers a dynamic work environment where organizational excellence and technical expertise are highly valued.
