Construction Project Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage residential and light commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership abilities, and proficiency in various construction management software. This role requires effective communication and coordination with stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. Duties Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Coordinate project scheduling and resource allocation to optimize efficiency. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Builder Trend. Conduct thorough construction estimating to prepare accurate budgets and forecasts. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with specifications. Oversee project coordination among subcontractors, suppliers, and team members on-site. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to address any issues that arise. Ensure safety protocols are followed on the construction site to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management or project management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling methodologies. Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore and Builder Trend. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, contracts, and schematics related to construction projects. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Previous experience on construction sites is highly desirable. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering quality results under pressure.
