Job Description
Concord Commercial Services, Inc. provides many professional trade skills much like a general contractor. Although we strive for new construction of facilities, we also aim for the preventive maintenance, daily upkeep, and planned improvements of existing facilities. Concord Commercial Services, Inc. strives to perform each service task in a professional manner to ensure a final quality product while working within the restraints of each individual facility. Service Manager The Service Manager is responsible for the performance and success of the Service department and all associated production staff. They will be expected to consistently put forth effort to find new customers and look for new opportunities. They will be required to be present for any customer relations and maintain communication with the appropriate contacts. They will need to take feedback to the Executive Team regarding the client's expectations and if they have been met or not. They will supervise all Service projects to ensure the proper procedures are being followed to produce the intended outcome. They will coordinate their team with others to build the most efficient group to complete the task at hand. The Service Manager will report to the Director of Production as well as the Executive Team. Below is a list of the general duties and responsibilities for the role of Service Manager. Please note, this list is not fully-inclusive and is intended only to be a general guide. As an employee of Concord, additional duties and responsibilities may arise that are necessary to attain the Company's goals. As such, your direct report manager and Executive Team may assign additional tasks on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:
Manager- Direct, lead, and be held accountable for all Service and associated Production staff
- Coordinate with the Service Leadership Team for technicians needed for daily pre-dispatch planning and perform pre-dispatch with the Service Admin
- Communicate and/or meet with the Service Technicians to review their assigned dispatch jobs
- Review, approve, and submit Job Scopes
- Communicate and coordinate efforts with the Service Admin for researching, locating, and ordering materials and equipment as well as monitor and control materials, tools, equipment, purchases, and associated costs to minimize loss and maximize profits
- Work with Service Admin to control, review, and sign-off on vehicle/equipment use, maintenance, fuel cost/tickets, rental periods, upgrades, and any associated elements
- Review daily time sheets and receipts to then submit to the Service Admin
- Prepare and submit estimates as opportunities demand in the field
- Sign-off on completion of jobs in conjunction with the Service Admin
- Utilize and help coordinate subcontractors as needed
- Approve purchase orders
- Prepare, review, and sign-off on Customer Estimates, Concord invoices billed to customers, and approve vendors' invoices
- Perform annual reviews with each Service department employee
- Address Service employees' performance and/or disciplinary issues in accordance with the company's Handbook
- Support and cooperate with other personnel and departments within the company Sales
- Seize new opportunities to aggressively sell and sign-up new work while in the field to expand Concord's customer relationships
- Be present and visible on job sites for Quality Control and Assurance
- Perform active customer care through in-person meetings, verbal and written communication to develop, maintain, and grow business relationships
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service through maintaining high quality and integrity in the work environment
- Develop and implement sales strategies to identify and target potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and local authorities
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and provide accurate cost estimates
- Present and promote our services to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and unique features of our construction solutions
- Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and results to management
