Job Description:
Plans and directs the layout of runway and taxiway lighting, runway and taxiway light can installation (1 piece and 2 piece), FAA navigational aid equipment installation, underground duct bank installation, manhole installation. Installation of L824C cable, multi-conductor control cable, fiber optic cable and airport and FAA grounding. Installation of airfield constant current regulators, airfield lighting control systems and line voltage electrical equipment. Performs other related duties and directs field hands in project-related tasks. Understands and enforces company policies and safety requirements. Responsible for reading airfield drawings, Labor Reports, Daily Reports, Manpower Forecasts and Equipment Forecasts.
Physical Demands:
Constantly moves throughout jobsite areas (on all terrain) to complete daily tasks Frequently carries, lifts or otherwise moves/positions objects weighing 20 pounds or more Typically bends, stoops and crouches on a regular basis Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions Able to work at least 8 hours per day, 40+ hours per week, overtime, night shifts and travel is required.
Experience:
The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of Airfield Electrical Construction Sites and 5 year's work experience in electrical field. Must have intermediate-level computer skills. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, strong communication skills and have the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced construction environment
Prerequisites:
Must be able to pass a criminal background check Drug Screen Electrical Journeyman's License required. (Master's Electrician License is a plus) Must pass a MVR check Must have a valid driver's license We offer a competitive benefits package with 401k, paid holidays/vacation and a comprehensive Health Care Insurance.
