Construction Superintendent

Job Description WRB Construction is seeking experienced General Construction Superintendents, and, or Working Superintendents/Lead Carpenters to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all on-site activities, ensure adherence to safety standards, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Your leadership will drive the successful execution of complex construction initiatives, fostering collaboration among teams, subcontractors, and clients. Projects include manufacturing upgrades, and maintenance, interior build outs, and ground up construction for manufacturing, retail, restaurant, medical, and office facilities. Applicants must be well rounded construction people. Position includes a company vehicle, or vehicle allowance. Duties Manage daily operations on construction sites, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently, and according to project plans Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to maintain high standards of quality and safety Develop and maintain project schedules using AutoDesk. Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify project specifications and ensure accurate execution Conduct regular site inspections for quality control, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and progress tracking Coordinate with project managers and engineers to resolve issues promptly and keep projects on track Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising large-scale projects Proficiency with construction management software such as Excel, Word, and Autodesk. Solid understanding of contracts, project scheduling, budgeting, and construction estimating processes Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and using tools like ohmmeters for electrical inspections Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for construction site safety Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Strong leadership skills with excellent communication abilities to coordinate diverse teams and stakeholders
