Control Room Operator, Second Shift

We are Urban Mining CT, LLC and we are recruiting for a Control Room Operator. We are looking for a multifaceted individual who can perform a wide range of tasks in support of the production of Pozzotive (r) at our plant.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor equipment and systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation
• Monitor and adjust process variables such as flow rates, pressures and temperatures
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues or alarms
• Maintain accurate records of process data, equipment readings, and maintenance activities
• Coordinate with other operators and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations
• Performing tests (furnace, oven, analytical scale, etc) on ground glass and MRF glass, documenting tests and performing maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• -Electrical knowledge or ability to operate Loader a plus!

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members
• Computer skills for data entry and record keeping, Knowledge of Microsoft products
• -Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screen, drug test, and physical exam.
