Job Description

Project ControllerThe Project Controller plays a key role in improving business performance by analyzing project-related financial data, identifying risks, variances, and deviations, and driving corrective actions to support profitability and forecasting accuracy.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Controller, you will:

Prepare, evaluate, and maintain accurate project forecasts, including cash flow projectionsAnalyze accruals, actual costs incurred, and work-in-progress calculationsContinuously monitor project performance and financial healthDeliver financial and operational analyses, proactively highlighting potential risks, variances, or deviations to stakeholders including Project Management and the Finance DirectorPartner with Project Management to develop, monitor, and validate project budgets while investigating discrepancies between actual and forecasted expensesTrack and manage financial KPIs for each project and recommend corrective actions when necessarySupport and oversee month-end closing activities, ensuring data accuracy and consistencyManage monthly cost and revenue provisions, ensuring completeness and accuracyEnsure effective cost control and alignment between project profitability and company financial objectivesCollaborate with Finance and Project Management teams to ensure invoices are prepared accurately, submitted on time, and collected efficientlySupport invoicing activities, financial terms and conditions, and credit management processesReview project activities for compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and revenue recognition standardsProactively identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions as project conditions evolveDevelop and enhance KPIs, reporting standards, tools, and financial proceduresMonitor potential tax implications related to project activitiesTranslate complex financial data into meaningful operational insightsRecommend and support continuous improvements in business operations and financial processesAct as a key user in the implementation of the company's new IT landscapeServe as a strategic liaison between Finance and Project ManagementProvide timely and accurate financial reporting and support to internal stakeholdersPrepare and provide information required for internal and external auditsDeliver regular project reporting, including budget status, WIP, cash flow, cost analysis, and revenue trackingBenefitsMedical/Dental/Vision401K
