Convenience Store Assistant Manager

Job Summary Assistant Manager - Jack's of Eden Valley/Best Oil Company Jack's of Eden Valley is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to support daily store operations and deliver excellent customer service. This role assists the Store Manager with staff leadership, training, sales growth, merchandising, and operational execution while maintaining company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager Recruit, train, coach, and motivate store employees Support scheduling, training completion, and staff development Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve concerns professionally Monitor cash handling, inventory, shrink, and controllable expenses Implement promotions, merchandising standards, and vendor policies Ensure store cleanliness, food safety, and operational compliance Complete daily paperwork and reporting accurately and on time

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and integrity Excellent customer service and leadership skills Ability to stand/walk entire shift and lift up to 35 lbs. Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays High school diploma or equivalent required Retail management experience preferred Join our team and help create a positive, well-run store environment every day.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
