Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service through active communication and friendly assistance Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts Upsell products by suggesting complementary items and product demos to enhance customer experience and increase sales Manage stock levels by merchandising shelves, stocking new inventory, and organizing displays to maximize visual appeal Supervise team members, oversee daily store activities, and ensure adherence to store policies and procedures Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors, ensuring professionalism at all times Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new or featured items, encouraging engagement and sales Qualifications Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader community base Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Knowledge of merchandising, stocking techniques, and grocery store operations Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on helping others, enjoy working in retail environments, and are eager to develop leadership skills.
