Overview Cook Pay:
$19.01•21.41/hour Help Fuel a Community That Matters Stetson School is looking for a reliable and team-oriented Cook to join our Food Services team. In this role, you'll do more than prepare meals—you'll help create a consistent, safe, and welcoming dining experience for students and staff in a structured residential setting. Be part of a mission-driven organization supporting youth Work in a collaborative and supportive environment Gain valuable experience in institutional food service Consistent schedule and team-oriented workplace Responsibilities What You'll Do Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and serving sizes Set up and organize the serving line for each meal Serve food to students and staff in a professional and respectful manner Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment Wash pots, pans, and kitchen equipment after use Assist with stocking and storing food deliveries Follow all food safety and sanitation standards , including ServSafe guidelines Support team operations and assist with additional kitchen duties as needed Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety practices Good judgment and a dependable, team-focused attitude Ability to stay active, organized, and alert throughout your shift Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow dress code, including uniform, gloves, and hair restraints Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET required 0-3 years of cooking or food service experience preferred ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver's licenseSimilar remote jobs
