Duties Assist with menu planning to ensure balanced, appealing meal options that meet dietary guidelines and preferences Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and food safety standards, utilizing your culinary experience and knife skills Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and safety Serve meals efficiently and courteously, ensuring timely delivery and presentation that delights our residents or guests Support catering events by assisting with meal preparation, setup, and cleanup in a fast-paced environment Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members in the dietary department to coordinate meal service and improve overall food quality Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide, with knowledge of meal preparation and food service operations Strong culinary skills, including cooking techniques, food handling, knife skills, and food safety practices Experience in menu planning that caters to diverse dietary needs and preferences Background in food industry settings such as restaurants or catering environments Excellent food preparation abilities with attention to detail in presentation and taste Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Knowledge of catering procedures and serving techniques to support large-scale meal service Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering nutritious, delicious meals that brighten our residents' or guests' days!
