Job Description:

Lead capital equipment projects from concept through implementation, including scope definition, budgeting, vendor selection, and installation Evaluate current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction Develop equipment specifications and manage RFQs with OEMs and integrators Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and validation to ensure performance targets are met Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure smooth handoff and long-term sustainability of new equipment Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while providing regular updates to leadership Support plant layout planning and workflow optimization for new equipment integration Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles Ensure all equipment and processes meet safety and regulatory standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a strong focus on capital equipment projects Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion
