Prepare and cook large quantities of foodstuffs according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, and numbers of portions to be served. How does it get done? Accurately measures and mixes and prepares ingredients according to recipes using a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment. Who are the customers? Patients/ Residents/ Clients/ Staff Ideal Candidate Patients/ Residents/ Clients/ Staff Minimum Qualification No prior experience or training required. Employment Requirements Must possess a valid Drivers License Must obtain a Driving Defensive Certificate Working Conditions This position will perform work primarily in kitchen setting with exposure to high and low temperatures from ovens and freezers. This position requires extended periods of standing, bending, squatting and reaching above head and shoulders as well as the ability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds. Incumbent may be exposed to minor physical harm such as cuts from knives, kitchen machinery and other kitchen equipment. This position requires the ability to push and/ or pull wheeled carts and/or dollies weighing up to Three-Hundred Fifty (350} pounds.
