Apply now ! Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Cook to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our senior living residents, their families, and guests. Reporting to the Director of Culinary Services, the Cook's responsibilities will include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes. You should be familiar with sanitation regulations. The Cook will also be responsible for accurate record keeping, receiving, rotating and inventory of products and regulatory compliance. Ultimately, this team member will prepare and deliver a complete menu that delights our senior living community.

$22.00/hr - $24.00/hr Responsibilities and DutiesPrepare delicious, high-quality meals for residents, families, and guestsAssist the Executive Chef in all phases of meal preparation and menu executionStudy recipes, set up menus, and ensure consistent food qualityPrepare salad bar items, baked goods, breads, and dessertsMaintain a strong working knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredient preparationEnsure compliance with all sanitation, safety, and food handling regulationsProperly label, store, and rotate food items according to safety standardsAssist with receiving deliveries, inventory management, and product procurementMaintain accurate records and support regulatory complianceOperate and maintain kitchen equipment (e.g., food processors, dishwashers, convection ovens)Keep kitchen, equipment, and floors clean and sanitary at all timesPerform scheduled cleaning duties as directed by the Executive ChefQualificationsMaintains a current ServSafe certification One year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and special dietsHigh school diploma or GED acceptedCompetent in organizational, time management skills and demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skillsPhysical AbilitiesWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.

An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
