Position Summary Information Responsibilities 1. Create, write, and distribute press releases, game recaps, feature stories, and other communications materials. 2. Develop and design graphic content for digital platforms, publications, and promotional materials. 3. Maintain and update the athletics website, including game results, statistics, historical records, and multimedia content. 4. Compile, manage, and report game, season, and career statistics in accordance with NCAA and conference requirements. 5. Manage and maintain athletics social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement strategies. 6. Coordinate media relations activities, including communication with local, regional, and national media outlets. 7. Identify advertising and sponsorship opportunities and assist with solicitation and contract coordination. 8. Support revenue-generating efforts through marketing initiatives, promotions, and external partnerships. 9. Provide photography coverage for home and away athletic events. 10. Assist with broadcasting, streaming, and public address responsibilities as needed. 11. Recruit, train, and supervise student assistants and graduate assistants. 12. Prepare and submit nominations for conference, regional, and national awards. 13. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all athletics platforms and communications. 14. Collaborate with coaches, administrators, and external stakeholders to promote athletics programs and initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Broadcasting, Sports Administration, or a related field Demonstrated experience in media relations, content creation, or athletics communications Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects Salary Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university's resources.
