Shift Supervisor/Production Manager Reporting to this position: No direct reports
BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for the accurate processing of production work orders on the production floor from beginning to completion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Compliance with cGMP (current Manufacturing Practices) and all Company SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures). Record all production related activities on production work orders. Inclusive but not limited to all bulk transfers, pallet counts, labor distribution. Verify all carton labels, prepare and issue as required. Verify correct bulk has been placed by correct assembly line. Record any unused bulk being returned to inventory on BPI's (Bulk Product Inventory) sheets. Consolidate and record all data on production work orders at the end of shift. Close out completed orders on computer system. Determine the pallet patterns for all finished goods, adhering to customer requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Basic mathematical skills required, including knowledge of metric conversions. Basic Computer proficiency. Ability to interact effectively with all related production and quality control departments. Detail oriented with impeccable organizational skills. Ability to work independently, self-motivated. Must communicate effectively using Basic English communication and written skills.

the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Strong team player Commitment to company values Has basic working knowledge and understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. Must be Bi-Lingual

Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time (heat and cold associated with dock doors being open). The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
EDUCATION / TRAINING
High school diploma or equivalent. 2- 5 years' experience in manufacturing environment of cosmetics/personal care products preferred, relevant experience will be considered. This position is classified non-exempt.
