Job Description

: Come be a part of Grace Lutheran Communities! We're looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team! We have a Full-Time Position Available! Looking to use your professional talents for a purpose that truly matters? ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform minor maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and equipment upkeep. Assist with room/apartment turnover, drywall repairs, touchups, appliances, painting, general cleaning, and preparation for new residents. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas, storage rooms, and facility grounds. Assist in moving furniture, supplies, and equipment as needed. Provide assistance and backup to transportation department as needed when emergencies arise. Maintain building grounds, maintenance functions including landscaping projects, bed maintenance, light shrub pruning, and tree care. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Collaborate with other team members to maintain a positive, home-like environment for residents. Follow all safety, infection control, and company policies and procedures. Routine maintenance and inspections of facility safety equipment along with documents and records. All other assigned duties by Plant Operations Director.
REQUIREMENTS
Reliable transportation to get to and from all of our facilities Valid drivers license
