Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and drivers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload packages using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky items. Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines. Deliver packages directly to customers' locations with professionalism and a positive attitude. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving goods, and maintaining organized storage areas. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues promptly. Perform routine vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical concerns to ensure safety on the road. Requirements Proven experience in delivery driving or courier roles, with familiarity in route driving and heavy lifting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and commercial trucks such as box trucks. Experience with warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Physical ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform moving tasks efficiently. Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and warehouse operations.
