CRE Lender Research & Analyst Associate Commercial Real Estate Finance | Part- or Full-Time | In-Office Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CRE Lender Research & Analyst Associate to join our commercial real estate finance team. This role sits at the intersection of lender intelligence, data research, and deal support. The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter who thrives on outreach, enjoys digging for information, and communicates clearly with both internal team members and external contacts. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our lender database, conducting targeted outreach to identify and understand financing sources, and supporting the broader deal team with analytical and operational tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities Lender Data Research & Database Management Research and identify commercial real estate lenders across loan types including bridge, construction, CMBS, SBA, agency, life company, and conventional financing Build, update, and maintain a comprehensive lender database with current contact information, lending parameters, appetite, and program details Track lender activity, market trends, and program changes to keep the database current and actionable Source new lender contacts through internet research, industry directories, trade publications, and professional networks Outreach & Relationship Support Conduct proactive email and phone outreach to lenders to gather program information, confirm contacts, and introduce the firm Follow up on inquiries and maintain organized records of all outreach activity within CRM Assist in coordinating and participating in lender calls and meetings for senior team members CRE Analyst Support Assist with loan request preparation including gathering property information, financial data, and market comparables Support underwriting tasks such as data entry, cash flow analysis, and loan sizing worksheets Help prepare deal summaries, lender packages, and presentation materials Assist with pipeline tracking, deal status updates, and internal reporting Qualifications Required Strong written and verbal communication skills — comfortable conducting professional phone and email outreach Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) Self-directed with the ability to work independently and take initiative Comfortable with high-volume internet research and data entry Preferred 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate, finance, lending, or a related field Familiarity with CRE loan types and basic underwriting concepts (bridge, CMBS, SBA, agency, etc.) Strong working experience using CRM platforms Exposure to tools such as CoStar, Crexi, or similar CRE data platforms Associate's or Bachelor's degree desired and in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field is a bonus What We Offer Direct exposure to commercial real estate finance transactions across a variety of asset types and loan structures A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with growth potential Mentorship from experienced CRE finance professionals Competitive compensation commensurate with experience How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief cover letter describing their interest in commercial real estate finance and relevant experience.
