Critical Care Registered Nurse

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Intensive Care. This contract role offers the chance to deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic critical care environment.

Schedule/Hours:

13-week contract Overtime eligibility after 48 hours worked

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license with a focus on Intensive Care Unit nursing At least 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)

Preferred:

Prior experience in a trauma Level 2 facility

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the ICU Closely monitor patient condition and respond rapidly to any changes Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support as needed Collaborate intensively with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and promptly Support families and loved ones, providing education and clear communication regarding care plans Maintain strict adherence to facility policies, industry best practices, and infection control protocols
