Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse experienced in Medical-Surgical care. This role is essential to providing top-tier patient support on an inpatient unit for a 13-week contract.

Schedule/Hours:

Contract duration: 13 weeks

Key Qualifications:

Current, active Michigan RN license Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient Medical-Surgical nursing experience BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Strong clinical skills and ability to manage multiple patient needs Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care to adult populations on the Medical-Surgical unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary staff, and patient families to ensure coordinated, high-quality care Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and report promptly to appropriate providers Safely administer medications and document accurately in accordance with facility protocols Educate patients and families on care and post-discharge instructions Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment following hospital policies and procedures Participate in shift handoffs and communicate effectively with peers to ensure continuity of care
